The Catalan Institute of Finance, the public financial institution of Catalonia, has signed a collaboration agreement with the Tech Barcelona association to increase knowledge of existing financing solutions and boost financing for Barcelona's technological and digital ecosystem. The agreement consolidates the relationship between public banks promoting Catalonia and the city's business fabric.

In this sense, the ICF has products such as the ICF Venture Tech, a venture capital fund intended to invest in technology and/or innovation projects in their initial stages and with innovative business models, or IFEM Innovació, conversion financing with private investors and venture capital funds in the form of participatory loans for companies in their early stages or early stages of growth.

Vanessa Servera, CEO of the ICF: "For the ICF, this agreement with Tech Barcelona is a strategic alliance to strengthen the relationship between public banks promoting Catalonia and the technological and digital ecosystem. The ICF is a relevant funding agent in the technology and start-up sector and this agreement contributes to further materialising its position and increasing awareness of the financing solutions it offers."

The agreement signed foresees the collaboration between Tech Barcelona and the ICF in the promotion of initiatives, programs and events in the technological and digital field, the organization of workshops and working groups, and participation in events such as Tech Spirit Barcelona or 4YFN.

Tech Barcelona, an independent non-profit association that works to consolidate Barcelona as a technological and digital hub of international reference, represents more than 1,300 members and has the support of more than 90 partner organizations, leaders in their sector, committed to the project.
