The people are the driving force behind our mission
The people who make up the ICF’s staff are the driving force behind our mission as the Government of Catalonia’s public development bank.
This means that what they do has to be governed by values, ethical principles and rules such as professionalism, transparency, honesty and integrity coupled with rejection of any kind of discrimination and a staunch commitment to equal opportunities.
The ICF ensures a quality working environment and fosters the development of the talent and careers of its professionals who every day help to drive the Catalan business and social community with their efforts.

Equal opportunities
Equality of opportunity is one of the ICF’s highest priorities. As such, we add to the rules and principles set out in the Code of Conduct with an Equality Plan that embodies the ICF’s commitment to real and effective equality.
The ICF Equality Plan outlines a strategy to ensure a work environment free of discrimination through in-house training on equality and prevention of harassment, events and initiatives to raise awareness of discrimination based on gender, sexual orientation or any other characteristic, measures to promote work-life balance and other actions.

Human and professional development
To support the human and professional development of the people who make up the ICF team, our training plan includes training to enable our staff to handle new digital environments, keep up to date with credit institution rules and regulations, gain new skills and work with new tools and software to deliver the best possible service and care.
Code of Conduct
Our Code of Conduct includes the values, ethical principles and rules of conduct which govern and inspire the ICF Group’s professional performance.
All employees, officers and members of the governing bodies of the organisations in the ICF Group or which act on its behalf are required to be familiar with and observe this Code of Conduct.
ICF professionals are expected to behave with professional integrity based on the principle of transparency and in a lawful, ethical and loyal way in the performance of their duties while always maintaining the confidentiality of customer-related information.
Furthermore, the Code of Conduct prohibits any discriminatory conduct and includes the ICF’s commitment to the environment.

Collective bargaining agreement
The ICF Group’s collective bargaining agreement regulates the working conditions, rights and obligations of the staff of the entity and its subsidiaries.

Trade union representation
The ICF has a works council made up of five people elected as representatives of the ICF staff in the course of a trade union election process. The people appointed at present are members of the UGT trade union.
