We are committed to increasing the stock of social housing and securing people’s right to housing in partnership with the Catalan Housing Agency (AHC). So we make possible projects that increase the stock of publicly-subsidised rental housing with very long-term financing and subsidised interest rates.

We offer financing with advantageous conditions to local councils, public and private developers and social organisations so that they can build publicly-subsidised rental housing developments or purchase properties through the exercise of the right of first refusal and setting aside and make them available to applicants for social rental housing.

Financing solutions for publicly-subsidised housing

  • Loans for developing publicly-subsidised housing

We provide financing for building social housing or public housing for rental or under the assignment-for-use cooperative scheme. Make the most of the flexible conditions with a subsidy on the financial cost from the AHC to increase the stock of publicly-subsidised housing.

  • Financing for buying housing for social renting

We finance projects for the purchase of flats for social purposes featuring a subsidy on the financial cost from the AHC. Whether for social organisations or local councils, our loans provide the right conditions to foster accessible housing for vulnerable groups.

Fundació Resilis

Discover the social housing program of the Resilis Foundation, an initiative that started by addressing homelessness and helping young people in the city of Girona find a home.

Currently, it manages 115 homes, and through shared housing and intergenerational housing, it aims to reverse situations of squatting, homelessness, and evictions.

These types of initiatives are made possible by the decision of the Government of Catalonia to acquire flats that banks place on the market and transfer them to third-sector organizations for a period of 75 years.
